Picture Catch-Up: May 2009
It is time to play catch-up with pictures. I've been taking pictures but have
not been good about getting them online. Sorry about that. Here are some pictures taken this month.
At the beginning of the month we celebrated Alex's 8th birthday with a party.
Corey made a new batch of homebrew. He is calling this one World Peace Porter. It has fresh ground coffee in it.
On Mother's Day we went to the Tennessee Renaissance Festival. Great fun! We saw a short version of
Romeo & Juliet, some jousting, a human chess game, the washing wenches and both kids received a special honor from the
queen. Alex was knighted and Morgan was granted ladyship. The topper (for me) was visiting Castle Gwynne.

Alex with the washing wenches. He winked at them before we left and I thought they were going to follow him home.
In the middle of May, I (Kelly) took a beading class at our local library. Afterwards, I showed Morgan what I had learned
and we decided we wanted to make beaded necklaces for her dance instructors for end-of-the-year gifts. They are such wonderful ladies.
Miss Dori's necklace. Morgan made this one all by herself.
Miss Millie's necklace. I made this one.
We've made it to the end of May and have entered Dance Recital time! We have been busy with dress rehearsal and now 4 shows.
Here are some pictures I took during dress rehearsal.
